The First Real Statamic Price Increase in 6 Years

The First Real Statamic Price Increase in 6 Years

Jack McDade 3 min read

On May 1st we'll be raising the price of Statamic Pro to $349/site and $99/year for continued updates and developer support.

This is our first meaningful price increase in six years. We nudged things slightly in 2023, but in all honesty, it was a rounding adjustment. This is the first time we've actually sat down and said "Okay, it's time."

I held off because I feel frustrated when prices go up on me. Especially when it's coming from super mega corporations who have so much money it feels like they can just print it out of thin air (looking at you, Netflix and Amazon Prime) and nothing is new or better, it's just the same old stuff with a new price tag. It's annoying. You budget around a number and get comfortable, and then the rug moves. And then they do it again. And again. I don't want Statamic to be that kind of company.

But six years went by and Planet Earth continues to get more expensive by the day. And all along the way we shipped thousands of new features, improvements, and bug/security fixes — all while providing the best support humanly possible.

Here are just a few highlights since our last price increase:

  • Complete Control Panel redesign (now a full SPA with Inertia.js— fast, smooth, no page reloads)
  • Passkeys, 2FA, and Elevated Sessions built into core for enhanced security
  • Full headless support with GraphQL and REST API
  • Hot-reload Live preview, image cropping, and video thumbnails
  • Real-time collaboration and static site generator
  • UI component library and robust support for both Blade and Antlers
  • Huge performance improvements across the board
  • Day-one support for new Laravel versions, every year
  • And much, much more...

Statamic 6 still has that new car smell, and it's the best thing we've ever built.

You're the reason we care enough to get this stuff right. The Statamic community is the best I've ever been a part of, and I'm so grateful I get to wake up every day and work on something I love for people who genuinely care about the software we build.

We sent this pricing notice out via email last week and we've been humbled by the nothing-but-encouraging emails you all have been sending us. Thank you! 🫶

If you want to lock in the current price, there's no rush — you have until April 30th. You can even purchase multiple years of support & updates per site if you want to save a bit more.

Oh and existing Statamic Platform customers will be unaffected by this price increase, and we will continue to offer Non-Profit and PPP discounts just as we always have. ❀
